My SECOND hiptop has broken for no good reason. The 'wheel' that you use to scroll just decided to quit on me.
I don't know anyone who has owned one trouble free for more than 6 months.
I can't believe that something with so many cool features in the software can have such crappy hardware.

Thu, July 8, 2004 - 8:49 AMI don't really like to admit this in public, since I'm afraid of tempting fate, as it were, but I've had a CSK, purchased off Amazon, since last November. I've never had a NET7, I've never had any hardware failures. I love my CSK.
Interestingly, sometime after the six-month mark, the silvery paint started to come off the corners of the back and the contact patches on the buttons, revealing the white, resin-looking plastic underneath. So maybe they're not designed to last this long. :D -
