flashing blue rollerball

So the rollerball on my SKIII is pretty much always flashing an alert at me, until I open it up. I suspect it's part of the mail alert, although I haven't been able to determine this for sure. Regardless, it's annoying. I haven't been able to find anything in the settings menu to turn it off.

Ideas?

    You may want to go to sound profiles---->edit----->uncheckflashing lights.------> then hit upper right hand button to select done.

    I am sure that will get rid of the flashing. Personally i like the pulsating light as i have chosen one which is pretty chill. Hope that helps, if not let me know.

      I had that checked off, but only on the default sound profile. I've turned it off on all profiles.

      I like the mellow blue blinking, except that I keep my cellphone in the bedroom at night and the flashing is actually pretty bright.

      I've cleared out all my spam...err...mail, I'll see what happens when more mail comes in.
